RN Post Diploma Baccalaureate Program
with Ryerson University

In 2009, approximately 22 HHS Registered Nurses will graduate from the Ryerson University post diploma baccalaureate program. The 30-month program was offered at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital site to facilitate participation and mutual support. The program was fully funded through a variety of funding sources including the MOHLTC Nursing Education Initiative and the Patricia Hayes-Wilson Endowment Fund through the Oakville Hospital Foundation. Many of the participants have indicated that without the financial support provided and the ability to continue to work full-time while attending school, they would not have been able to pursue their degree.
