Partnerships with Educational Institutions

HHS continues to partner with a broad range and number of educational facilities primarily in the province of Ontario, but increasingly, from out of province/out of country (e.g. the U.S.A.) to provide clinical placements for students from all professional disciplines. Nursing Baccalaureate and Practical Nursing Programs are our major focus.  Access to specialty areas continues to increase as a way to offer unique learning opportunities. A student orientation program is evolving to include all health professional students. In the coming year we hope to offer the Electronic Documentation and Order Entry training in e-learning modules. Hand Hygiene and WHIMIS modules using the e-learning program are  available.
