Pharmacist – Milton/Oakville
As a Pharmacist at Halton Healthcare, you will provide patient-focused care and liaison services for your assigned nursing unit(s). Among your many duties, you will be responsible for computer medication profile maintenance, providing drug information and educational sessions as well as dispensing in the traditional drug distribution system and I.V. additive program. Applicants should have a BSc. Pharmacy, should be licenced or eligible for licensure under Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists register. Hospital pharmacy residency or relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Pharmacy Technician – Milton/Oakville
As a Pharmacy Technician at Halton Healthcare, you will be responsible for technical tasks within the traditional drug distribution and partial I.V. additive systems. This includes dispensing of individual patient prescriptions, preparation of I.V. admixtures, TPN, chemotherapy, compounded products and distribution of controlled drugs and ward stock. Applicants should have completed a pharmacy assistant program at a recognized community college and have previous experience in a hospital pharmacy department.
