Cover your Cough
Help Stop the Spread of Germs
You can help stop the spread of germs that make you and other people sick by covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and putting the used tissue in the waste basket. If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneezing into your upper sleeve not your hand.
Hand washing is the single most important thing you can do to prevent the spread of germs. Please remember to wash your hands when you arrive and leave the hospital. We have handwashing stations conveniently located throughout the hospital including at each of our entrances. If you have a fever or feel unwell, please do not visit patients in our hospitals as they could catch your 'bug' and it could compromise their recovery.
