Located on the first (1st) floor of the hospital. Enter through the main entrance and continue down the corridor straight ahead. Follow the signs to the Diagnostic Imaging department (approx. 2/3 of the way down on the right hand side.)
Upon your arrival in the department please take a number and have a seat in the waiting area. When your number is called the receptionist will process your information and complete your registration.

Enter through the main hospital entrance and follow the signs to the Diagnostic Imaging department; continuing straight down the corridor, and passing the gift shop. Turn to the right, just before the 2nd set of elevators. The Diagnostic Imaging department is the 2nd door on the left-hand side.

Located on the main floor of the hospital, enter through the main hospital entrance. If you already have an appointment, turn right and continue down the corridor to the right. You must report to the Main Registration Desk which is located adjacent to the Emergency Waiting Room. If you are making an appointment, turn left as you enter the hospital from the main doors and the DI office is the first door on your left.

All patients visiting the Diagnostic Imaging department use the main waiting room.
As our patients are taken to many different areas within the department, please note that the time of your arrival and registration does not necessarily indicate the order in which you will be called. You will be escorted to the appropriate area to have your procedure when a room is available. Although every effort will be made to complete your examination promptly, emergency and urgent cases will be completed first and you may have to wait.
Hours of Operation
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.
We are open for outpatient examinations from 8:00am to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. At the Oakville site, some special examinations such as CT and MRI do provide evening appointments.
No appointment is needed for: Plain x-ray examinations
Appointments are needed for: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Special Procedures, Mammography, Bone Density, and Gastric examinations.
The booking desks are open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm to book these appointments.
