Milton District Hospital Programs & Services

Milton District Hospital is an 65-bed community hospital providing mostly primary care to the residents of Milton. The hospital currently serves a town and rural population of approximately 53,939. Areas of clinical emphasis include obstetrics, general medicine, surgery, rehabilitation and complex continuing care. The hospital is a modern facility with more than 60 per cent of the building completely renovated and an addition built in 1987. MDH is situated on more than 30 acres of land with approximately 20 acres remaining for future development because the area's population is expected to grow to 85,000 by 2011.
