Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association
Our volunteers supplement the work of our staff by spending the time to touch the lives of our patients and visitors by helping them throughout the hospital. The volunteers are also involved in fundraising to help the hospital purchase capital equipment and/or fund building renovations.
Re-established in 2006, when GH was transferred to HHS, the Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association are in their 50th year. What started with four dedicated ladies now boasts close to 150 adult and youth volunteers. Numerous hospital programs and services benefit from the time, talents and energy shared by our volunteer teams working in both direct patient care and behind the scenes.
