Milton District Hospital Auxiliary
The Milton District Hospital Auxiliary is a highly visible volunteer organization throughout the hospital. Founded in 1959, the Auxiliary membership boasts over 255 adult and 30 junior volunteers. Members of the MDH Auxiliary can be seen throughout the hospital performing a number of activities. The volunteers strive to enhance services which the Hospital offers to its patients. The Auxiliary holds many fundraising events. The money is donated to MDH and is used to purchase new equipment. New Auxiliary members are always welcome. Besides fundraising activities, volunteers assist with patients in the Emergency, complex continuing care and Obstetrics areas, and are involved in the organization of tours and special events.
Volunteers Take Time to Care
Our volunteers supplement the work of our staff by spending the time to touch the lives of our patients and visitors by helping them throughout the hospital.
